France Trip 2014!

Paris' holds the key to your heart..

For my 18th birthday, me and my best friend (who turned 18 shortly after me) went to Paris! I finally got to go Disneyland after years and years of wanting to go.

We went on a bus which took around 17 hours and it felt like a lifetime but we just slept as much as we possibly could. We made a couple of stops here and there to have a breather and then got back on to sleep some more. We went on the ferry from Dover to Calais which was... an experience. At first I was fine but later... started to feel a little bit queasy.
The view was quite nice though.

We eventually got there and stayed in a hotel called The Kyriad and it was so lovely! Basic of course, but we weren't looking for 5 star because we didn't plan on spending much time there. It a very nice place to stay and I would recommend it.

From our hotel, there was a bus specifically to take us to Disneyland every 15 minutes so that was fab!
When we got to Disneyland, I think I was hyperventilating a little bit inside at first because I was just too excited. I conquered my fear of roller coasters and it turns out... I don't actually have a fear after all.

(I'm on the left!)

I went into Sleeping Beauty's castle, which ngl, I want to live in.

I went on the "It's a Small World" ride and.... I wasn't so sure. Kinda creeped me out to be perfectly honest. Me and dancing dolls don't mix!

Now... If you know me well, you'll know I'm obsessed with Alice in Wonderland. So, the fact that there was an Alice Labyrinth...  I was just over the moon!

So as you can see, I had a crackin time! The next post will be a little bit more about what went on at Disneyland, what I bought and what happened when we ventured further into Paris... Uh-oh...
