Top 5 January Beauty Favourites!

January Favourites!

As this month is coming to an end, I decided to make a blog post about some of my favourite beauty products I've been using this month!

5. Clear Complexion by Rimmel London

I absolutely love this powder recently. It's transparent so I use it after I've put on my foundation to make it set and look nicer on my skin. A lot of powders that I've used in the past have really dried out my skin but so far I'm really liking this one. This is from Superdrug for just £3.99! Get it here.

4. Reversalist Foaming Cleanser by Anew (Avon)

I recently bought this cleanser from Avon and it wasn't really something that I had been looking at for a while or I was really wanting to try. I was really just flicking through and decided to buy it. I'm so glad I did! My skin is a lot clearer and cleaner and I really recommend it! The only thing I will say though is, don't use it as an every day wash. Maybe use a face wash that's a little bit more gentle on the skin for every day. I use this 3 times a week before I go to bed. Loving it.

3. Moisturising Day Cream- Daily Essentials by Nivea

I really love this day cream from Nivea. It's for dry and sensitive skin which is a bonus because it's really gentle on my skin and really hydrates it. I like to put it on first thing in the morning after I've washed my face and I'm really feeling the benefits. It's good to pair it with the night cream as well. Both are really really nice! I got it from Boots for £4.19 :-) Get yours here

2. Flat Out Fabulous in Matte by MAC

The photo doesn't really do this lipstick justice because it's absolutely gorgeous! It's a bright, hot pink colour and it's definitely my favourite lipstick of this month. It's matte so has a really strong colour to it and I personally think matte lipsticks last longer throughout the day. It is a little bit drying, but I just put on a little bit of vaseline or lip balm before hand it's really nice to wear. If you can't be bothered to put on loads of makeup you can stick this on and to me, it just makes you look like you've made more of an effort than you have! I love it. I got mine from House of Fraser for around £15.00. In the House of Fraser I bought it at, I got the last one and on the MAC website it's out of stock, but if you sign up to the website, you can choose the option for them to notify you when more come in. Here!
1. Smokin' Eyes by Benefit

This is my number one favourite beauty product of this month. It's the Smokin' Eyes kit from Benefit. Inside you get a smoky eyeshadow and a black one to blend together, a kind of highlighting powder, tweezers, pigmented eyebrow wax and light pink highlighter which is also a kind of waxy consistency. With that, you get a pencil eyeliner and a double ended brush. The eyeshadows are smoky but not too harsh on your eyes and everything just works so well together. My favourite thing about it though, is the pigmented eyebrow wax! It's seriously so good, I love it. If you're unsure of how to use it, there's a little step by step kit of how to use each element. Super nice! I got it from boots for around £28.50 and you can get yours here!

Make sure you check back towards the end of February where I'll hopefully have some more new favourites for you!

xoxo
